Each program will provide a course schedule once the student is enrolled. The schedule will outline the times when students are expected to participate in daily in-person or virtual classes. Each schedule is specific to the program instructional method (in-person or virtual) and location.

HCPSS Summer Programs will follow the same health and safety measures that are in place for all students and staff working in HCPSS schools and buildings. More information will be shared prior to the program start date.

 

Are there in-person courses? Are there virtual courses?

Yes. Most programs have only in-person courses. The Innovative Pathways High School summer program has options for an in-person or virtual teacher pending the instructional delivery method of the selected course.

Do all summer programs have tuition and fees associated with them?

No. There are four registration-based programs and two invitation-based programs. Costs for registration-based programs can be found on the summer webpage at: https://www.hcpss.org/summer-programs/#summary. The invitation-based programs are at no cost to families.

Every HCPSS school has at least one staff member who serves as a Rainbow Representative, who works to create a more welcoming community for LGBTQIA+ students, provide instructional support for educators, and ensure their school is an ally and advocate for LGBTQIA+ students, staff and families.
