Yes. Students who are invited to participate in Group E are expected to attend in-person instruction 5 days a week. Otherwise, they should elect to be in the A/B group (1-2 days in-person) and provide the 5-day space to another student.

Depending on the specific support needed, students may be pulled into in-person small groups for additional supports. It is also possible that this small group may contain a combination of in-person and virtual students.
Elementary school students who are in-person will transition physically to different classrooms throughout the day as needed. These transitions may include mathematics class, related arts classes, and lunch. Students attending virtually will transition into different Google Meet virtual classrooms throughout the day.
In most cases, a student participating in the 5-day option (Group E) will not be the only student in a physical classroom. However, it is a possibility that in a given class, there is only one student who was invited to take part in Group E.
When a student is in-person, the student will follow their assigned schedule and will be in the classroom with their teacher(s). The remainder of the class will be joining the teacher virtually using Google Meet. The teacher will be teaching the students in-person and the students virtually at the same time, which may include whole group activities, small group activities, and independent assignments. The student will be using the Chromebook for at least part of the lesson.
Teachers will have the responsibility of teaching both in-person and virtual students at the same time. During the class, the teacher will include a variety of structures including whole group, small group and individual assignments to provide instruction and to meet with small groups of students who are in-person and learning virtually.
Students will eat at desks socially distanced from one another in the cafeteria. If there is not room for all students to fit in the cafeteria in a socially-distanced manner, the school will identify another eating location for students. Students may remove their masks while eating and drinking.
Yes. Students who must transition to virtual instruction as a result of an exposure (or possible exposure) to COVID-19 or any other illness will have the opportunity to return to in-person instruction as soon as they are permitted to return.
