Yes, if the student has not enrolled/transferred to the approved school within 30 calendar days from the date of approval, the reassignment approval will be considered declined and will be rescinded by HCPSS.
Per Howard County Board of Education Policy 8020 Grading and Reporting: Middle and High School, To be promoted to grade 11, students must have ten credits including one English credit and one mathematics credit and two years of high school attendance.
A student must have already met these requirements prior to their move to be eligible for the junior status exception.

For students receiving services through an IEP, there is a collaborative, data-based process in place to make individual decisions for students. Championships and playoffs are governed by the Maryland Public Secondary Schools Athletic Association, which voted to allow administration of Spring state championships between June 5 - 19, 2021.
The MPSSAA plans included culminating events on June 18 and 19th for high school baseball, softball, boys lacrosse, girls lacrosse, tennis, and track and field. The tennis and track and field tournaments include a sectional regional and regional round for qualifying to the state meet.
