The Lightspeed weekly emails are sent on Sundays, and provide parents/guardians with a summarized report of their student’s HCPSS Chromebook internet usage for the previous week. The reports are emailed every Sunday containing the Subject: Filter Portal Weekly Report and sent from: do not reply@lightspeedsystems.com.
The Lightspeed Parent Portal provides near real-time access to your child's internet history with additional detail and features. Also, when the student’s Chromebook is not connected to the HCPSS network, parents/guardians can pause their student’s ability to use the web for various amounts of time and create internet activity schedules, and block access to YouTube, some content filter website categories and block specific websites.
The time delay for web activity displayed in the Lightspeed Parent Portal is approximately one minute.
