The Lightspeed weekly emails are sent on Sundays, and provide parents/guardians with a summarized report of their student’s HCPSS Chromebook internet usage for the previous week.
The Lightspeed Parent Portal provides near real-time access to your child's internet history with additional detail and features. Additionally, when not connected to the HCPSS network, parents/guardians can pause their student’s ability to use the web for various amounts of time and restrict social media sites. The time delay for web activity displayed in the Lightspeed Parent Portal is approximately one minute.
