What does bona fide residence mean?

Per HCPSS Policy 9000: A person's bona fide residence is their principal residence maintained in good faith. It does not include a temporary residence or a superficial residence established for the purpose of attendance in the HCPSS. Evaluation of a person’s bona fide residence is a factual one and will be made on an individual basis.

Bona fide residence can be best explained as the place where you and your children are domiciled or where they sleep each night.
