If my child is reassigned under the BUILD/BUY/LEASE category, is transportation provided?

For current Howard County residents moving within the county: Transportation will not be provided by HCPSS, so parents/guardians must provide transportation unless transportation is included in their child’s IEP or 504 plan.

For nonresidents moving into Howard County: Parents/guardians must provide transportation for their child to and from school.

Once you move into your new home and provide the required documentation to the school, transportation can be arranged if you are eligible for transportation.
