We moved after the school year started. Can my child finish the school year at their current school?

Yes, every student has the option to complete the current school year at the school in which they are enrolled as long as they moved after the start of the school year. If a family moves out of Howard County, they have the same option, but tuition will be assessed.

To request this, please provide your new residency documentation to the school and complete a change of address form. The school will then assist you with the next steps in requesting student reassignment.

Next year, your child must attend the newly designated school. An exception will be made for a resident student who has a change of residence after achieving Junior status. For a student who becomes a nonresident after achieving Junior status, the student will be allowed to remain at the current school through graduation upon payment of tuition.
