How do I appeal if my reassignment request is denied?

If your request under the hardship category is denied, an appeal must be received within 10 school (business) days from the date of the denial letter. Appeals should be sent to: Policy9000appeals@hcpss.org.

Your appeal submission must include:

  • A copy of the original determination letter.
  • A written statement explaining the basis for the appeal.
  • Any new or additional supporting documentation not included in the original request.
