The scope for this enrollment balancing project was recommended by staff and approved by the Board. It includes one of the highest-utilized schools in the system and another school that is projected to remain utilized above 110% for the next ten years. Adjacent schools with available capacity, or that share the same feed pattern are included to facilitate the review of boundaries. Middle and high schools to which these schools feed are included to facilitate alignment of feeds following any elementary adjustments. A limited scope, balancing enrollment in one area at a time, is recommended. Enrollment balancing projects for other areas will be considered in future years.
