HCPSS transportation contractors have utilized vans to transport students to and/or from school for the first several weeks of the school year to maximize the resources available at the time. As more drivers have been hired and trained, HCPSS is beginning to transition students from vans to buses to transport students more efficiently. We expect these buses to be in place for the remainder of the year.
Please note that if your student has an Individualized Education Program (IEP) and it has been determined that they need alternative, individualized transportation, that will not change outside of an IEP team meeting.
