Service is provided by the special educator through small group virtual instruction. Both whole-group and small-group lessons are based on alternate achievement standards. Some students also engage with activities provided by the general educator. Students are assigned differentiated work to address individual needs including options that incorporate a range of (low and high) assistive technology. Families receive an individually scheduled opportunity for family coaching on important topics such as prompting and reinforcement. Behaviorally-based resources and ideas to use during instructional activities and for daily routines at home are also provided.
