Beginning with the 2026-27 school year and after students have completed Algebra 2 (or Integrated Algebra 2 beginning with the 2028-29 school year), students can choose from four state-defined pathways: Quantitative Reasoning; Data Analytics; Algebraic Foundations of Calculus; and Statistics and Probability.
These pathways are designed to align mathematics learning with postsecondary college and/or career interests, aspirations, and goals. Students will select courses within a single pathway or combine courses across pathways to align with their evolving plans. For more information, view the HCPSS Catalog of Approved High School Courses: 2026-27 (beginning on p. 79).
