We were redistricted a few years ago. Why are we being redistricted again? (Español | 中文 | 한국어)

Every attempt is made to avoid redistricting students more than once at any level. However, the enrollment growth in an area might necessitate more frequent reassignments. Rising twelfth graders are exempt from boundary changes and the Board of Education can determine if additional cohorts are phased in at the high school level so as not to disrupt the continuity of a student’s school experience any more than necessary.

If your child is redistricted, all those involved in implementing the changes are sensitive to the impact on families and children. Transition teams are established to ensure that students move smoothly between sending and receiving schools.
