What will a typical day look like for in-person students compared to those who remain virtual?

When a student is in-person, the student will follow their assigned schedule and will be in the classroom with their teacher(s). The remainder of the class will be joining the teacher virtually using Google Meet. The teacher will be teaching the students in-person and the students virtually at the same time, which may include whole group activities, small group activities, and independent assignments. The student will be using the Chromebook for at least part of the lesson. As is the case even when all students are in-person, instruction will consist of a combination of synchronous and asynchronous work through teacher-led lessons, assignments, group work and homework.

When a student is virtual, the student will join the class using Google Meet at assigned times. Some students will be in the Google Meet and some students will be in the classroom with the teacher. The start and end times will be adjusted starting March 1 to align to a full day schedule.
