The Music office is providing teaching staff and administrators with guidelines that are aligned with the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), National Association for Music Education (NAFME) and National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) recommendations for performance classes. Specialized playing masks and PPE have been ordered for wind instruments. Extended physical distancing will be required when a student is to sing or play a wind instrument. The focus of the in-person playing will be for small group playing rather than large group practices at one time.
