How do I cancel a ride or notify Zum of a future ride cancellation?

Only HCPSS families who receive special education services that involve an at-home pick-up should cancel a ride. Please note: You MUST notify your child’s school if your child is not going to attend classes. 

Follow these steps to cancel the current week’s ride(s)using the Zum App: 

  • Tap on the Rides tab in the bottom navigation bar to view the list of upcoming rides 
  • Tap on the ride you wish to cancel to view its ride details 
  • Tap on the Manage Ride button at the bottom of the screen 
  • Tap Cancel Ride in the menu options and follow the prompts to provide a cancellation reason 

Alternatively, you can contact Zum Support via the chat or phone call feature in the App. For any rides outside the current week, please call, email or chat with the Zum Support Team. 

The earlier Zum knows schedule changes, the better they can help you make the adjustments. Only individuals associated with your student’s account will be given access to their information, so please be prepared to confirm your account email or phone number.
