All student vaccine mandates must be directed by the State of Maryland, which currently is not requiring public school students to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. Local districts may not require vaccinations not mandated by the state.

Please note that all student-athletes in grades 9–12 are required to provide proof of vaccination or undergo weekly testing in order to participate. This requirement begins with the start of winter athletics practices. Full details on student athlete requirements are available online.
