Are there any resources available to help me/my child prepare for the Advanced Placement (AP) exam during the COVID-related closures?

Note: This help topic is out of date and currently archived.

Teachers will continue to share activities designed to prepare students for success on the exam. In addition, College Board released the following free resources to help students prepare for the exam:

  • Student review section has been opened in AP Classroom
  • Release of sample free-response questions for you to review and practice
  • YouTube Channel with sample lessons and review materials
  • Checklist for exam day preparation
  • Key Information Videos to give your child quick, easily accessible information about the test day experience and what they need to do to prepare.

These additional resources are optional, but recommended for students to use as they prepare for the AP exam.

A full 2020 AP Testing Guide is available online.

Additionally, on April 16, the College Board hosted a webinar for parents to share information about this year’s at-home AP Exams and how to help your child prepare. Parents/guardians may watch the recorded webinar online. Parents/guardians will need to register online with a valid email address in order to view the webinar.
