Will HCPSS provide meals to students during virtual instruction?

Yes, meals will be provided at no cost to any HCPSS student, and all children 18 and under, through the 2020-2021 school year, subject to U.S. Department of Agriculture funding availability.

The food services program consists of Grab-and-Go meals served any day school is in session, Monday through Friday from 8–9 a.m. and 10:45 a.m.–12:45 p.m. Meals include breakfast, lunch, dinner and a snack, and may be picked up at either meal time. All meals picked up on Fridays or pre-ordered for Thursday pickup also will include weekend meals.

Meals will be served at all school locations, with the exception of Burleigh Manor Middle School and Hammond High School, where construction is ongoing. For convenience, meals may be picked up at any location where meals are being served. Any closures to specific meal sites will be noted online.
