Parents/guardians of new incoming students, including those entering kindergarten in the 2020-2021 school year should begin the enrollment process online and upload the required documents. Parents will be contacted by the child’s school to schedule a virtual meeting to complete the registration process. During this virtual meeting, parents will be asked to verify their parental relationship and submit any additional required documentation.

The Pre-K application and enrollment for the 2020-2021 school year is open.I f you would like to apply for Pre-K for the 2020-2021 school year, there are two options for submitting an application. Please visit https://www.hcpss.org/schools/pre-k-programs/ for more information.
Parents/guardians who wish to transfer their child should email their current school principal to arrange a transfer for the 2020-2021 school year. Proof of new residency is required for transfers within Howard County public schools. For transfers out of HCPSS, electronic records will be sent now and additional records will be sent when schools and office buildings reopen.
